- Tell us about NonToxicated?

NonToxicated is an online community of Alcohol Free and Grown Up Drinks Enthusiasts! Our private Facebook group has over 9k members and is where most of the conversation around different types of drinks happens.  There’s conversations about alcohol replacement drinks as well as things like Kombucha, Kefir, Craft Soda’s etc!  We are an inclusive community, and our main focus is all about the drinks…what’s new…what’s available… where it’s available… and what it tastes like.  Our members are at different stages of their journey. Whether you are sober curious, sober or somewhere in between…everyone is welcome in the NonToxicated community!

- When did you set it up? 

Just before Sober October 2020!  Lisa and I had been friends for a few years and worked together in her food manufacturing recruitment business.  We both had an interest in alcohol free drinks and saw that there was no central place for people to discover all these weird and wonderful alcohol free and grown up soft drinks.  So we got our heads together and NonToxicated was born.  It seems like yesterday and we can’t believe 4 years have passed! There’s now 3 of us…Leanne, Lisa & Laura….otherwise known as the 3L’s!

- Why is the community so important?  

There’s so many drinks to choose from and alot of them are not available in the supermarkets, so we wanted to create a space for people to share what they love, what they’ve found, where they’ve  found it etc.  There’s a lot of groupsout there that are more focused on support, but not many just about the drinks.   Also, a lot of the brands are small independents, and we want to help them on their journey too.

- Why would you recommend someone to join? 

If you’re abstaining from alcohol, whether that’s for a few days a week or a longer period of time, the NonToxicated community will help you to discover lots of drinks to help you on your journey. We also have the NonToxicated App with over1k drinks that you can find out more about and buy.  There’s articles on there too and lots of money off discount codes.  We produce regular online, magazine style, newsletters and guides which are a great way to keep up to date with the world of alcohol free drinks!

- What’s upcoming for NonToxicated?  

We’ve got lots of things in the pipeline, but the next big focus is our Ultimate Guide To Christmas and Dry January.  We are also working on some improvements to the App and we are about to launch The NonTox Box… watch this space!
