To celebrate our recent Gold 96 IWSC award and National Tree Week (28 November - 5 December), we are committing to planting a tree for every order of Original Agua de Madre sold during the week. 

In order to make this happen, Agua de Madre has teamed up with Treeapp a mobile app who work with eco conscious organisations all over the world who donate funds to support tree planting.   They then work with local tree-planting partners which make sure that every single tree they plant benefit the local communities and have environmental and social benefits.                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

Deforestation and wildfires are the major factors impacting our trees.  Forests cover 30% of the land area on our planet.  During the last 50 years, around 17% of the Amazon rainforest has been lost. Shockingly Treeapp have told us 69 football fields of forest are being cut down every minute around the world.   The trees are home to wild life and around 8000 species are at rick of extinction every year. 

To help combat this, Treeapp have planted hundreds and thousands of trees have bee all over the world including Africa: Madagascar, Tanzania, Burundi, Ethiopia, Guinea, Mozambique, Kenya, Americas: Brazil, Peru, Haiti and Asia: Nepal, Indonesia.
